Why I’m Running

I’m running for Congress because this moment calls for generational change and leaders who actually understand the lived experiences of the people they represent. And we can’t wait another moment.

As a longtime community organizer and activist, I’ve served in the House of Delegates for the past 4 years to improve the lives of our neighbors. I’m a leader who can’t be bought by special interests or bullied by party bosses.

That’s why the establishment doesn’t want me in this race. But a Congressional seat belongs to the people. Politics is about the people, not dynasties.
