For FCPS Families
Snow days will no longer be online this winter for FCPS Students! ❄️
Therapy for FCPS students can be completely free through Hazel Health. As school stress resumes in the new year and the cold weather keeps everyone inside, mental health can suffer. Parents/caregivers can refer their children for weekly therapy with a licensed therapist through Hazel Health. Visit the Teletherapy webpage for information on how to opt in.
What I’ve Been Up To
While I was traveling to Korea, I had the opportunity to visit the Mason Korea campus and meet with Dean Matz, administrative staff, and students. The Mason Korea campus is a wonderful extension of the Fairfax-based George Mason University.
Recently, I was elected Chair of the Virginia Asian American and Pacific Islander Caucus. I am honored to have the trust of my colleagues, and look forward to building on the work first started by former Delegate Mark Keam and Delegate Kathy Tran. We had a wonderful fundraiser the other week with New York Times best-selling author, Angie Kim, discussing the importance of diverse narratives and voices, both in arts and politics.
I finally got to visit the brand new General Assembly building and see our new office. Our team has been hard at work preparing for the upcoming session and we are eager to return to Richmond this month.
As 2023 comes to a close, I wish that the new year will bring you peace, good health, and joy.
Thank you for the honor of representing and serving you.
