Press Release: Senator Jennifer B. Boysko Endorses Irene Shin for Delegate
Jennifer Boysko is the State Senator for the 33rd District in Virginia, which encompasses the heart of the 86th House of Delegates District.

HERNDON, Va. – Today Senator Jennifer B. Boysko endorses Irene Shin to be the next Delegate for the 86th District.
Statement of Senator Boysko:
“Let me tell you why I am endorsing Irene Shin to be the next Delegate for the 86th District. In addition to having a strong position on progressive policies, it's essential to be approachable, collaborative and willing to listen to people. Irene has a track record that I believe will restore that sense to our constituents in the 86th District.
"I care deeply about the people of the 86th District, and Irene shares my commitment to listening to the voters and to working with others to make a real difference in our community. We have made significant progress in Richmond over the past few years, but there is much work left to be done. I hope the voters will send Irene to serve us in the 86th so that she can work with me on the issues that matter to our residents. I know that with Irene in the House, I will have an effective partner and the voters of this district will have a duo of progressive champions who know how to get things done.”
Statement of Irene Shin:
“Senator Boysko is the gold standard when it comes to representation. She is hands-down one of the hardest working public servants I know and I am truly honored to have her support. I know how hard Jennifer has worked to build a relationship of trust with the people she represents, and she does not make an endorsement like this lightly. I will work every day as a Delegate to live up to her example. I look forward to working hand-in-hand with Senator Boysko to bring effective representation to the residents of the 86th District.”
